About the Collection Inspired by the success of the Wine Celebration funnel which won three international awards, three new funnels have been introduced. This Vinifera collection, which is a grape species used almost exclusively in making wine. All new designs allow for maximum aeration during the decanting process and come with a removable strainer to sieve fine sediment. FROM PANTHEON TO PEWTER Crowned with an abundance of vine leaves and grape clusters, the god of revelry might appear to be puckering up for an inebriated kiss. Instead, wine issues from his lips in soft launch fashion against the decanter’s neck to enhance aeration. In the Roman pantheon, Bacchus is the god of the grape harvest and winemaking, revelry and theatre, customarily depicted in frescoes, ceramics, mosaics and statuary crowned with vine leaves and grape clusters. A sieve to catch any lees or cork fragments is included. THE VINIFERA COLLECTION The Mediterranean, home of the common grape vine vitis vinifera, provides the thematic link for an eclectic collection of wine accessories.
