My friend was wearing an awesome pair of sandals, and she told me she had the new model from a brand named Taos, but they were expensive. I checked the website and her pair was almost $200. I kept looking and found the Gift 2 model on sale for about $80, but they were not eligible for return or exchange. I wear a 7.5 shoe, and didn't want to order the wrong size and get stuck with them since they don't do half sizes. So onto Amazon I went. And sure enough, they had the Gift 2, and in the color I wanted, they just costed a little more. I still didn't know what size to get, and the reviews were all so varied on sizing. Some people said to size down, some said size up. They didn't have a size 7 available, but they did have an 8. I compared the cost of the shoes from the Taos website, and including shipping, was just a little less than Amazon, BUT on Amazon I could return/exchange. That helped me decide right then and there- so I bought the size 8. They came almost 6 days early! I tried them on as soon as I got home. And I was not disappointed. They fit like a freaking glove! Well, a glove for my foot. My mom came running over because she had to try them on, and now she wants a pair because she is convinced they will help her bunions. I am so glad I sized up because I don't think the 7 would have fit me. My foot is wide, so maybe that's why the 8 fit me better. So for me, I sized up to an 8 since I wear a 7.5 with a wide foot, and the fit was perfect. This is why I had to get the Amazon credit card recently - they just don't let me down, so I buy more and more...
