I made a ton of the little buttons that came with this. My kids love it! It works really well for the price. The only thing that made me sad is I can't make any large buttons. The outside plastic they sent me was cut too small so pretty much all those buttons are now worthless. It's a real bummer cus those were the buttons I tested first. My kids wanted to make their own, and the bigger ones are easier to color. Now I have to go buy replacement buttons that work hopefully!This button maker is great! Glad it has 3 sizes!Easy to use I Love ItThe directions are not well written on this, but it might be intuitive for someone who's made buttons before (I have not). At any rate, my daughter and I did one round of getting mad because the top wasn't getting crimped around the pin back. I gave it another go a few days later and got it to work. The "trick" is to "grasp" the top and bottom handles and squeeze them together during the second crimp....it wasn't "taking" just by pushing down on the handle - oh, and the pin back needs to rotated 180 degrees from what's shown in the pic or else the pin will be pinned on upside down. All good!I purchased this back in May 2021, I have used it 3 times thus far. Today I needed to make special buttons and the piece where the plastic film and paper go, it's not taking it up after I press it down. Its messing up my film and papers.Can someone assist in troubleshooting...... the part has disconnected or the springs are not working.The machine probably works fine- but there were missing pieces, so I chose to return it. Missing: the Mylar cover papers needed for badges.
