I love squirrels, so I ordered the squirrels with the bell to add to my collection.First of all, this thing is big and long! It's about 41 inches from the top of the hook to the bottom of the bell. Therefore, if you want to hang it outside, you'll need to have something that's pretty high off the ground.Second, the craftsmanship is so well-done. My father was a wood carver, and I know he would have loved this. The fact that they used driftwood should make each piece one-of-a-kind.Even though this is going to hang in a protected area, I brushed on urethane in order to protect it. Also, urethane brings out the beauty of wood, so it looks even better.One thing that strikes me as a bit odd, is the description, especially the part about the black and white dotted finish. It makes it sound like there are polka dots, when there aren't any. It does have some black beads, so maybe that's what they meant.Be sure you watch the cost of this, too, because it fluctuates wildly. I bought it at $27, then, about a week later, it was less than $15 just for a few days, and then it went up to about $56, and then back to less than $20. Meanwhile, so far, the squirrel chimes haven't budged, but I have hope that they will sooner or later.Because of the size and the excellent craftsmanship, I highly recommend this.
