I needed to find slippers that kept my ankles warm too. Surprisingly, that’s hard to find. These are great! Very warm and comfy. I have tile and hard wood floors and barefoot or just socks is hard on my feet. But not in these slippers. I can even run outside to get the mail or take the garbage out! I LOVE them! I highly recommend them!So I live in an unfinished basement in the US Midwest. This makes winters for me pretty miserable due to the sheer cold that lasts even into May with the deeper ground retaining so much cold. I got these slippers since they were taller than normal and seemed thick and fluffy.I mean they are thick and fluffy but they're not quite as tall as I was hoping. I wanted something that comes to the top of my thermal socks. I have some other slippers that do that. They're tie ones, though, which means they constantly slide down. I wanted something more rigid that would come up to that same height. My legs just get so cold during the winter so having them covered as much as possible is really nice.Despite that, these *are* nice slippers. I probably could've stood to order a size up, though. I'm a 6.5 wide in normal shoes, so I ordered a 7/8. I probably could've fit into a 9/10 still fairly comfortably. The slippers are tight around my feet though not uncomfortably so. I also just have a preference for things being a bit looser. I just thought the 9/10 would be WAY too large. It's mainly the thick padding inside that makes it so tight. So I have a feeling they'll be pretty warm for what they do cover.I have been looking for slippers like these for YEARS and no one ever made them. I always looked every once in a while over the years and was disappointed something like these did not exist. I wondered why? . NOT THIS TIME! Finally someone made some slippers that keep the ankles warm so the blood is heated before it gets to the foot. I would like a pair just like these with the exception that they go up to the knees. BUT these are just fine till someone comes up with taller slippers! They so far keep feet warm without moisture. When you walk in these? It's like walking on a 3inch cushy carpet! Super comfy!Best ever! Normally I don't write reviews unless it is really really special! Iwould give 6 stars but it only allows 5. EXCELLENT !!! AAA+++Ok I JUST got them, I was skeptical on them fitting because I have wide feet, but they are PERFECT!!! Was looking for something to slip on in winter to take my dog out in the snow! No snow yet, so we will see how they hold up, but I am extremely happy with the way they fit!!!! I wear a size 11 wide or 12, and not everything that says size 12 fit me!!! ?????very comfy and warm but a tad on the small sideThese are not snow boots. They are slippers. So don't try running out to start the car. They are laced a little bit different than we (Americans) lace shoes. But it's not difficult to figure out. Back two holes and pulls up or down. Holes do not go through, but up and down the sides. Enjoy.I bought these and they were so comfortable for two weeks but the cushion on the bottom of my feet went flat its like being barefoot will not buy again very disappointedI wear slippers as work shoes now, so these are my work boots. While they are warm and comfortable, they are fairly wide inside. My feet kind of slip around inside a bit so I have to be careful. I've tried to tighten the laces (I like being able to adjust them), but I can't really tighten just the foot part & not the ankle/calf, as the laces go all the way up & eventually settle. Overall, they are good. Very cute. Might be great for those with wider feet.J'adore ces pantoufles, même si elles ont certains défauts. Elles ne sont pas aussi hautes que l'image laisse paraître, le matériel à l'intérieur se détache et colle aux pieds à chaque fois que je les chausse et que je les enlève. Mais pour le moment, comme la température n'est pas encore très froide, elles me tiennent les pieds très au chaud et c'est exactement ce que je voulais. À force de les porter tous les jours à la maison et toute la journée, je verrai dans quel état les pantoufles vont se retrouver à la fin de notre hiver très long et très froid ici au Québec. J'ai cherché ce genre de pantoufles dans les boutiques du Québec et malheureusement elles n'offrent que des petites pantoufles très basses et pas chaudes du tout.the booties came today. as the weeks went on i was worried that maybe i'd ordered the wrong size & they would be too small? but no, they fit just exact & by a comment on here they may even stretch a little which would be even better. i'm happy with them so far. (I checked the inches measurement chart. i wear an approx. 8.5 with socks & i chose the 7-8 medium/approx 10.25"inches i think) i know it can be difficult to choose a size when you can't try it on first. very nice though & i got the baby blue/i don't think you'll be disappointed... good luckI've always had cold feet that radiated up past my ankles and these are absolutely perfect! Toasty! And the rubber sole allows me to run out through the snow quickly in the mornings to warm up the car for work. Wish I'd found these years ago.Love these boots (sorry not the best pic) but they are cute and comfy!!! Feet stay warm and they don’t slip off :)Easy on and off.. bought them for the wife at Christmas and she won't take them off...
